Inquire about everything beforehand
Coffee glass, leaking, dish soap dripped onto rolls. Fruit bowl at the edge BROKEN, fingers torn open. And wanted an explanation for the TOTALLY excessive price. There were no positive reactions. Unkind answers. We won't be back

A Bit Unpleasant
Room and bathroom very basic.
Bedding in synthetic material.
Slight odour in the corridors.
Breakfast ( which was mandatory) has been forgettable: no croissants and almost no cakes. The savioury dishes not particularly inviting.
The staff was either nice (receptionnist) or non/descript (all the rest).
On the positive, extremely quiet establishment and spacious room.
All in all, 164 euro/ night is way too expensive for this hotel.

Bar is open til 22:00, giving you some options to partake downstairs or in your room.
There is quite a bit of attention to detail/well thought out room structure. Separate toilet and washing area, with ventilation, sitting area, coat hangers, large closet, modern balcony door, good water pressure, etc. this is one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in, and the separate comforters were nice for couples who are habitual dueling blanket thieves.
The room had both a shade and darkening curtains, this is always very important to us.
I cannot speak to climate comfort, since we visited on a cool night and did not require neither heat nor cooling (I don't think/know if there is AC).
the common areas are cozy, I personally loved the rustic decor with tons of character.
Breakfast is just fine, plenty of options to get you started.
WHAT A GEM! Very excited we stumbled upon this.
