Чудесный опыт, во всех отношениях возможное
Это действительно похоже на обнаружение маленький кусочек рая. Это было очень спокойно, бассейн великолепный, и владельцы очень дружелюбны и гостеприимны. Только жаль, что мы могли остановиться на одну ночь. В глуши, но мы, стоит того. Номер был очень удобным. Завтрак на террасе был отличным. Хотел бы вернуться k некоторое время.

In a beautiful and quiet setting, Veronique and Marius welcome us with great warmth. Welcome could not be more friendly!!
The bedding and rooms are impeccable both comfort and decor.
A breakfast (which I call brunch), exceptional with homemade products, an amazing variety of jams.
Just cross the road to find yourself on a path conducive to hiking or cycling and ask the guests for advice to occupy your days according to your desires.
I left with various objects created by Véronique whose culinary gifts are accompanied by creations based on recycling. Moose, varied, and for a small price, you can stock up on gifts as varied as jams, hats, aprons, bags, baby kit...
A big thank you for this stay that makes you want to come back... very quickly!

Very nice place
A wonderfull weekend ! Except for the weather ! The bedrooms are beautiful , the french breakfeast is at the top especially the jams (homemade).
Ours hosts know very well this aera with all the good spot(tourism and restaurant)

Beautiful location with a subpar hostess
-
We spent the last week at la manse in both the individual rooms and then the gite for a week. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The good:
- location is very convenient for all sorts of outdoor activities ; canoeing, hiking, visiting villages etc.
- The domaine is nice and the pool area is lovely. It is well- kept by Marius.
- The breakfast included when staying in the rooms is good
- One of the owners, Marius , is fantastic. Easy to talk to, always willing to help and always with a smile.
The not so good …..
- although we exchanged many times by email With the owner about the fact that we had a dog and a child , we felt very very unwelcome when we arrived. We were told our child could make NO noise and certainly no noise in the pool. We were also told our dog must stay on a leash. Fine, these rules are allowed, but if we had been told that kids had to be kept quiet and our very well behaved dog on a leash we would’ve chosen another place to stay. In addition we paid 8 euros extra per day for our dog : for what reason ? We were the ones that cleaned our room?! Veronique insisted she likes kids and dogs but not once over our ten day stay did we receive that impression. Marius, on the other hand, was adorable and even offered to watch our dog if we wanted to do an activity without him.
- the price was quite high for what you get. When staying in the individual rooms they are never cleaned, sheets not changed , trash not taken out and new toilet paper not available. There’s also no fridge in the room and when we left a closed, very small container of leftover food in the tiny communal fridge overnight it was thrown away! And by communal fridge I mean a fridge full of overpriced drinks that apparently guests are not allowed to use. This information is not written on the website and we were very surprised to learn we had not even a tiny kitchenette upon arrival.
- Another surprise for us upon arrival was the fact that you are not allowed to picnic anywhere ! No snacks in the room and Despite all the tables and chairs around the property, eating on them is not allowed !
- We constantly felt like we were being watched and judged by Veronique : like we were teenagers making mischief in the house if we opened an applesauce in the room or had a snack on a table outside. Her attitude is extremely condescending and she doesn’t hold back on bossing you around. After spending time with others, I am aware that many also experienced these same sentiments.
- We really felt like all Veronique was after was money —— charging 8/ day for the dog, extra for a child, judging the way we hadn’t cleaned the mirror “up to her standards” and threatening not to return our cleaning deposit…..
Overall, it was an okay stay but we certainly will not be booking here again solely based on the lack of trust and humanistic connection in veronique.

Un Havre de paix sublime
Merci beaucoup à Véronique et Marius pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse, votre générosité et votre écoute, les petits-déjauners et les repas étaient délicieux, les chambres décorées avec beaucoup de goûts, même les petits détails sont présents....tout était parfait, nous avons passé de superbes moments en votre compagnie vous êtes à l'image de votre domaine, ne changez surtout rien.....
