beautiful apartment with great views
A spacious pool and a fitness center are available to me. Here you will also find a small sauna area.
Parking is available in the opposite parking garage.
A really very pleasant stay!!!!

Not recommended, staff unprofessional, rooms not cleaned, cheeky handling tone
We spent a week at this hotel and were really looking forward to the holiday. Our decision fell on this hotel because of the proximity to the beach and Binz (about 40 minutes walk). On our arrival, however, we experienced the first shock: The carpet in the living area was dirty, with large brown spots (see pictures) and leftover food from the previous guests lying on the balcony. We quickly had the impression that there was no or only insufficient cleaning here. At the reception we expressed our dissatisfaction. The staff responded friendly and offered us a room upgrade, we were positively surprised! But on closer inspection in the new room it turned out that the dishwasher had not been cleared, the floor was sandy and there was a full ashtray on the terrace. Also in this room the furniture was heavily worn, some with burn holes of cigarettes. However, we thought: “Not so bad, after all, we got an upgrade.”
However, our journey took an unfortunate course: In the first two days our room was neither cleaned nor the garbage disposed. On request, we were assured that room service was available daily. On the third day without cleaning, I took the garbage and went to the reception to report it. Employees reacted annoyed, but promised to take care of it. In the afternoon (about 2 pm) the cleaner finally appeared. The strange thing about the situation: He told us not to enter the room if the “please clean up” sign is on the door. Since the cleaner did not speak German, communication was difficult. He was probably wrongly trained and had understood the “please clean up” sign as “please do not disturb”.
The highlight came on the last day: The weather was unfortunately bad, and while the room service cleaned our room, we went to the hotel lobby. There was a coffee machine. Since the machine was switched on and there was a small “coffee box” next to it, we assumed that we could get a coffee for a small donation. While some of the staff around us were cleaning up, suddenly a woman from reception came and asked me if I lived here. I said yes, and she cheekily replied that coffee after breakfast would cost €4. I was perplexed and said that I was not aware of this as the machine was on and there was no clue anywhere. I also showed myself willing to pay for the coffee. She replied sharply that this was not an all-inclusive hotel and you should not just help yourself. I replied that this could have been communicated more friendly.
Another employee, who was always very friendly, noticed the situation, apologized for the unprofessional behavior, brought us the coffee and addressed the receptionist in front of the hotel manager. There was a noisy battle of words in which the receptionist insulted her colleague and even threatened the police. The hotel manager stood by without a word and did nothing.
After this experience we went straight to the hotel manager and complained. He showed no understanding of the situation and again taught us that the coffee after breakfast would cost 4 €, even asked us if we had booked breakfast at all. No excuse for his employee's behavior, nothing at all. The receptionist overheard the conversation and again interfered that we had “no idea” about hotel management and should rather be quiet.
We have never experienced such unprofessional behaviour towards hotel guests! We paid a lot of money for the week's holiday and through this promotion, we will remember the DORMERO Hotel absolutely negatively.
We had the names of everyone involved given to us and will now contact the hotel management directly.
