This is a great hotel that is situated pretty well in the area of Nuuk.
It is very easy to walk to pretty much anywhere in Nuuk from the hotel, even if walking to the downtown area is uphill going and if you have any water tours, the hotel literally can't get any closer than this.
The hotel was very nice, clean and I actually had a pretty large room. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet was well maintained and there were plenty of outlets and lights in the room.
I never got around to visiting the attached dining room but talking to other guests, it was pretty good.
The front desk staff was quite nice and were very helpful in helping me find a good restaurant and getting a taxi back to the airport when it was time to leave.
I don't have any other experience in any other hotel in Nuuk, but I would definitely recommend this one.

Close to the airport

Our room was spacious and bright, with attractive textile colors. Unfortunately, my sheets had several black spots on both sides. Nothing sticky, but it should have been discovered by attentive house keeping.
The room had a kettle for warming water, and a desk, but lacked an in-room safe and small fridge.
Service was friendly and even cheerful.

Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay, it is a quiet and peaceful hotel, next to the harbour and a short walk to the city centre. I would highly recommend. Thank you for great experience - overall I loved Nuuk 💚

Excellent choice

I enjoyed being here at the hotel most still call the Seamen's home, because it's away from the hustle of downtown Nuuk. The harbour is nearby and it's great to see the boats come and go. The restaurant was fine and has a nice view. I would definitely recommend a room looking on to the harbour. The desk manager Me was incredibly helpful.

Couldn’t open the room window because smokers were just below my room outside the entrance. Room was reasonably clean but small, Probably wouldn’t stay at this Hotel again, Breakfast was the worst I ever had at a Hotel in any Country I visited. They don’t bother to cover the food, so you are guaranteed a cold breakfast consisting of mushy Scrambled eggs and not much more.If you like your eggs and bacon cold this is the place to go.
