Look Elsewhere

We booked this place as a 1 night stop over to avoid too long a drive to our next destination. We should have kept driving. While the staff at check in was lovely, the state of the room was disgusting. We made sure our cases were kept off the floor it was so unclean. The single bed for our son had sheets that were stained and the valance around the base of the bed had crusted ... something?? food/drink?? on it. The floors were sticky (even the carpet, we kept our shoes on). The bathroom was cleaner though and able to open the window in there for ventilation. We made sure we went out for dinner and stayed out as late as we could and left early. It was a much cheaper price than other places we stayed at... and now we know why. Lesson learned.

The older gentleman working there was so lovely, very helpful and was such a great first impression of the business. This was a last minute booking so we just needed a bed for the night, the duvet was a bit dirty (had some stains and bits on it) but overall the room was tidy and did the job. We had a double bed and I’d say it would have been worth the money to pay for a queen and have the extra room as it’s a tight double bed. Laundry facilities were great, we didn’t explore too much around the area but there are some decent shops close by incase you want to do any shopping. Overall a lovely place for a last minute booking!

Basic in all the right ways

Really lovely service over the phone and at reception. The room was very clean and good value. A very basic no frills experience in all the best ways. Great water pressure in the shower. I got a great nights sleep - good quality sheets and pillows. I would definitely stay again for the value.

Cockroachs and ants, non separate rooms as we asked for. Not impressed.
