In Search of the Lost Stars
The apartments are spacious, approximately 55 m2.
They are divided into three rooms, living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and has enough wardrobes to store clothes, although with few hangers.
-The kitchen is equipped with appliances (fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, hob/oven and microwave) but with a scarce and small kitchenware. The table service is only for 2 people, which forces the use of the dishwasher with low content and even using the medium load program, it wastes unnecessary light and water. This would be avoidable if the service of the table, glasses, cups, plates, cutlery etc. were extended with any other piece. And, as this establishment proclaims, be more energy efficient.
-The bedroom of the apartment has two beds of one meter glued to each other, I asked for a low sheet to join them, and they told me that they did not have. Then I found out they did, but they never offered it to me. Mattresses are soft and pillows are not viscoelastic, but fiber. The bedside table lamps cannot be turned on individually, which makes it uncomfortable for the other person occupying the bed, and also wastes electrical energy.
-The bathroom is spacious but urgently needs a tune-up, such as changing the silicone shower seals, because they are in bad shape and dark... (Picture 3), the wooden sink top also needs an overhaul, being in bad shape by humidity and with signs of color wear.
-Cleaning of the apartments is done once a week, and if you want an extra cleaning, it costs 45€ approximately for 11⁄2 hours...
During my stay at the hotel, the cleaning was very poor, and I had to complain on several occasions, always obtaining excuses, such as that they could not clean the countertop of my bathroom well for having my personal hygiene products (toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant and some other personal hygiene products) on top of the countertop, so I decided to leave it empty to see if it was better cleaned, and I found it just as dirty (photos 1 and 2).
Not to mention toilet cleaning... which I can only describe as disgusting, and which after sending you the photographs (4,5,6 and 7), I got cleaned.
Judge whether the cleanliness is at the level of a 4-star hotel, or rather at the level of public latrines.
- The hotel holds events in its central glass courtyard where you will also find many of the doors that give access to the guest apartments. During my stay several events were made, but one stood out because it was extremely loud with the music coming out of several speakers, and when you called reception to know what was happening, they answered that they could have the music at that volume until 10pm...
In short the hotel is abysmally poorly soundproofed, both with the exterior and with the interior. Fortunately, it is located in a quiet residential area with little traffic being on the outskirts of the city.
-Wifi is very bad and even non-existent in several areas of the hotel, this is incomprehensible in the 21st century.
-Lastly I have to stress that the few staff of the hotel, do what they can... some being correct, and others being kinder, while the management of this hotel shows an attitude with the customers in which empathy shines by their absence and (excuse the inconvenience) does not exist in their vocabulary.
Summary: The Hotel Jardines de Uleta Suites does not live up to its 4 stars, losing 2 of them in the lack of cleanliness, bad Wifi and unkind attitude of its management.

High profit but little interest in offering services and satisfying the customer
Upon arrival at the reception, we were greeted by a lady who, when requesting the kitchen service told us, with a kindness of protocol, that although she was very sorry, there was no availability of the service and that we should have pre-booked it. This is not true, as it cannot be done online; the proof is in the sign that appears in the rooms (Photo 1). In the ensuing dialogue, lacking empathy on your part, it was impossible to understand with her, although our request was simple and I think reasonable. When we were already in the double room, he phoned us and offered us the service with utensils only for said room and for the seven nights, when we were only going to stay together 5 nights (the other two nights we did not need it). Obviously, with two children, this completely changed our plans and spoiled our stay. Total: empathy and desire to satisfy customer requests, nil.
It must be said, in honor of the truth, that the hotel is in a quiet and pleasant environment, although far from the city center.
The rooms are fine, but they have their flaws. Thus, the triple room had an extra bed in the room where the TV is, so it is not compatible to sleep and for someone else to watch TV at once; in the rooms, there is only a tiny bin that is in the bathroom; there is no single light on the tables of the double room, and in one room, the bathroom door did not fit well in the frame and closed badly.
As for other services, the prices of the cafeteria, which is normal and without any luxury, are scandalous; two coffees cut cost us 5 euros (Photo 2).
Otherwise, I think there are plenty of indications. It is clear that the hotel business would increase its profits if customers went upstairs instead of the elevator, but I think health advice is best done by the doctor and not by the hotel (Photo 3).
I think we could consider ourselves hotel guests, but obviously we won't be back anymore.

Nos entristece mucho saber que su estancia en el Hotel Jardines de Uleta no fue lo que esperaba. Valoramos su opinión y queremos agradecerle por tomarse el tiempo de compartir sus comentarios con nosotros.
A modo informativo, todas nuestras habitaciones tienen junto a la cocina un espacio en el que se les indica si su cocina está o no activada. Dependiendo de su reserva (habitación o apartamento) tendrá una información correspondiente sobre el uso de cocina. Y sí, de manera online para estancias de un mínimo de 4 noches (en Booking, Expedia y la web de Sercotel) se puede reservar el apartamento completo. Nuestro equipo sigue un protocolo establecido para la reserva de servicios adicionales, el cual incluye la posibilidad de solicitarlos con antelación. Sin embargo, entendemos que la señalización en las habitaciones pudo generar cierta confusión al respecto. Lamentamos lo ocurrido.
Agradecemos sus observaciones sobre las habitaciones y las instalaciones. Cada uno de sus comentarios es valioso para nosotros y nos ayudará a mejorar nuestros servicios.
Respecto a los precios de la cafetería y las indicaciones sobre el uso del ascensor, entendemos que pueda tener diferentes opiniones. Queremos que sepa que nuestras decisiones se basan en nuestro compromiso con la calidad y la sostenibilidad.

Not a hotel more like student accommodation
Rooms are like one bed apartment with cheap furniture and no cutlery or plates in the kitchen. The hardest mattress I ever slept on and rude staff.
Girl on duty for Sunday morning 17th November needs to go to customer service class as she fails on all counts.
No restaurant on a Saturday night and not many in area but check in staff said quite proudly they had a vending machine in the car park. We ended up eating Burger King.
Breakfast they want to charge €20 but then asked to pick off a chalk board with dishes costing €4.
Give this place a very wide miss. Wish we had booked elsewhere.

Good facilities, but they need upgrading to justify the fourth Ace.
In your favor breakfast, we could give you a 7 out of 10.
I think they should improve, in these circumstances, without being bad, does not deserve the Pass/Right Ranking, and consequently does not justify the fourth Ace.
