Charming, Reasonably Priced and Spectacular View!
In town, the Hotels have become very expensive due to the Dollar devaluation and you will also find yourself surrounded by hoards of tourists.
In contrast, the Hotel Da Peppino is located in the Centovalli valley, a beautiful 15 minute drive away from the circus of Ascona and Locarno.
The Inn is small (9 rooms) with small but very clean rooms and a beautiful outdoor place to enjoy the breakfast that's included or a cold drink.
Understand that this is a family run Hotel, simple and unassuming, where the owner and his wife are always willing to assist you or give you great advice.
If you get a room, try to get the one with a veranda overlooking the spectacular view of the Centovalli mountains.
It's definitely worth the extra expense.
And remember...while Ascona and Locarno are beautiful, so is a drive up the Valle Maggia and Centovalli road, and a swimm in the Maggia River.

Aurait-pu être parfait sans le maître des lieux et une meilleure déco.
MAIS La décoration : fausses fleurs et tableaux kitsch à souhait. Le patron qui est super sympa avec certains clients, mais vraiment désagréable avec nous (francophones ?). De plus, lorsque sa femme s’est une fois trompée de table pour servir, il l’a remise en place de manière très irrespectueuse devant les clients et cela nous a choqué. Peut-être que nos têtes ne lui revenaient pas et que ce n’étaient pas les bons jours, mais son comportement nous a définitivement fait rayer cet établissement de nos destinations futures. Dommage pour l’employée et la patronne, toutes deux efficaces et sympathiques.

Klein aber fein
Sehr saubere Zimmer
Zimmer Grössen fallen eher klein aus, reichen jedoch fällig aus
Zum Teil mit grossem Balkon
Essen war tiptop
Haartrockner und Duschprodukte mitnehmen da keiner vorhanden
