Riverside Retreat in Kanchanaburi
The breakfast is delicious with both a buffet and a la carte options. Instead of a standard welcome drink, they uniquely serve freshly grilled coconut ice cream - so refreshing and bursting with authentic coconut flavor.
Overall, it offers a relaxing riverside escape with great amenities and little touches that elevate the experience. Highly recommend staying here when you want to get away from it all while still being pampered.

Disappointing stay - need a car, your own food and drinks.
Due to the remote location this is only a stay for those with a car.
The Hotel (better to say managed accommodation) doesn’t have a restaurant, no food or drinks (there is water), breakfast was basic and poor quality, for example the . Eggs ( sunny side up) were overcooked , cold ( perhaps pre- made hours in advance).
there is no store / shops within walking distance.
There is no taxi available due to remote location and grab won’t work as too far away, and the staff were no able to help arrange transportation.
Staff seemed overly concerned about limiting comfort
They gave us only one key-for family room ( 5 people) when we asked for extra keys - receptionist refused.
Not enough trowels , only one roll of toilet paper .
Wi-fi only per person log in, a family of 5 provided 2 logins and after some discussion we were provided only 1 extra. WiFi only works in your room and you need to login again upon leaving.
Upon check out they told us to wait in reception while they checked the room, which I can appreciate as no deposit was requested, however when asked where the missing coffee spoon was, we felt very happy to be leaving.
