Simply the best

This hotel stands out all others in the region, not only for its classical architecture or the impeccable facilities, but mainly because its staff and services it provides for the guests.
I’m a demanding guest especially when it comes to services and hotel facilities. Zarafashon Parkside went above and beyond the expected. Their employees don’t spare efforts to please and making your stay memorable.
An example was Mr. Anvar who noticed I was a first timer in town and prompted himself to show the best places in town where tourists are not aware of, and treated me with a feast at his house with his family on his day off.
The bed was ultra comfortable, and the bedroom had all amenities one could require. Very silent rooms, well lit, sparking clean and pleasant in every aspect.
I strongly recommend this property for your next stay.

Functional not exceptional

This hotel was perfectly fine. It was clean, efficiently run with nice rooms. Although we were on the ground floor next to reception it was not a problem noise wise.
The hotel has no communal areas to sit and have a coffee or similar. It is near a busy junction and not that close to Ragistan Square. A couple of good restaurants nearby. As in other places in Uzbekistan English was minimal, but not counting that as a particular negative as English speaking tourists are a relatively recent arrival!
Functional rather than an experience.

Extremely nice, newly renovated, luxury hotel within walking distance of the Registan. Very nice, very extensive breakfast buffet included and a nice restaurant —Old City— across the street. With the Yandex taxi app, getting anywhere in the city is easy and inexpensive.

A lovely hotel, clean, comfortable with good facilities and friendly staff

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group tour of Uzbekistan. I have to say, it was a great place to stay and in my opinion and that of our tour guide the best of the hotels we stayed in. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. The room was spacious very clean and comfortable with a nice soft mattress. Although located at the front of the hotel, two rooms from reception there was no street noise apparent (and I'm a light sleeper) . Breakfast had a wide choice and the staff on hand were very accommodating,
The hotel was well located I a nice area near a park and looks like embassy from outside with lovely well maintained gardens at the rear.
I would certainly recommend this as a place it stay in Samarkand.

Bad experience

The hotel is rated 5 stars but it definitely isn’t. The rooms are very small n we were given a road facing room which was sooo noisy that we couldn’t really sleep well. We requested a change of room which was denied saying none available. I doubt that. Added to this the last night the ac was not working. When we complained about the same a person came at 10:30 p.m. n told it was t working n will check n revert. After waiting for 2 hours we called back only to be told that there’s a problem so acs wont work. When we requested a fan, they didn’t have any n were told to open the window if needed any air. With no option, we did that n actually felt like we were sleeping on a footpath coz it was soooo noisy throughout the night. It was a terrible experience. The staff is very courteous but still a no no
