Unique location right in the historic center
Ernest Hemingway (Don Ernesto as he was named in Spain) used to stay at the hotel. Check out the hidden gem of Madrid - the Hemingway bar. The decor makes you travel in time, and looks much like NY.
Casa Suecia at the ground floor is cosy with a good ambiance. We tried iberico ham - yummy. The terrace on the hotel rooftop offers good cocktails and an absolutely breathtaking view of Madrid!
Guest relations team will make you feel at home. Would gladly choose the hotel for the next stay in Madrid.

We stayed at the hotel one night on our way out of town
I have to give a special shout out of appreciation to the doorman/bellman Javier M. who was just delightful. He was very friendly, efficient moving bags, summoning a taxi or anything else that was needed and always with a smile. There was also a male waiter Demetria in Casa Suecia, the restaurant and bar in the lobby of the hotel who was equally delightful and hospitable.
